Linda Creed's core mission is to provide free mammograms and diagnostic tests for women with little or no medical insurance. In addition we offer breast health programs, financial assistance for women undergoing breast cancer treatment, and support a state-wide advocacy network that works with legislators and researchers to assure continued funding for breast cancer research and policy making on the local, state, and federal level. Through our toll-free number we can help women find services in their area, and provide unbiased information on breast health issues and treatments.
Our education outreach includes worksites, healthfairs, churches, and community events. We have focused education programs to the African-American community and the LGBT community that is culturally sensitive and addresses their particular needs.
For women undergoing breast cancer treatment, Linda Creed offers financial assistance. We recognize that breast cancer treatment often means reduced income; a breast cancer diagnosis should not result in financial ruin.
Linda Creed works with area hospitals to provide routine mammograms with sessions held in the Spring and Fall. For women who are symptomatic, we offer access to diagnostic mammograms and ultrasounds for women of any age year round.
